Interface InformationBus

public interface InformationBus

The InformationBus is used to transmit information in JReport Server. It contains 3 kinds for information container, user can put/get information into/from the information container.

Method Summary

Modifier and Type	Method and Description
InformationContainer	getGlobalInformationContainer() Gets the global information container, there is only one global information container in the JReport Server.
InformationContainer	getOrganizationInformationContainer() Gets the organization information container of the current user belonged to organization, there is one organization information container per organization.
InformationContainer	getOrganizationInformationContainer(java.lang.String orgName) Gets the organization information container specified by orgName.
InformationContainer	getUserInformationContainer() Gets the user information container of the current user.
InformationContainer	getUserInformationContainer(java.lang.String userName) Gets the user information container specified by userName.

Method Detail

getGlobalInformationContainer

InformationContainer getGlobalInformationContainer()

Gets the global information container, there is only one global information container in the JReport Server. And all valid users can access the global information container.

getOrganizationInformationContainer

InformationContainer getOrganizationInformationContainer()

Gets the organization information container of the current user belonged to organization, there is one organization information container per organization. The root and all valid organization users can access the same organization information container.

Returns:

InformationContainer

getOrganizationInformationContainer

InformationContainer getOrganizationInformationContainer(java.lang.String orgName)
                                                  throws java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException

Gets the organization information container specified by orgName. Only root can call the method.

Parameters:

orgName, - the organization name

Returns:

InformationContainer

Throws:

NoPrivilegeException

java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException

getUserInformationContainer

InformationContainer getUserInformationContainer()

Gets the user information container of the current user. The information container only by the current user, root and organization admin user.

Returns:

InformationContainer

getUserInformationContainer

InformationContainer getUserInformationContainer(java.lang.String userName)
                                          throws java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException

Gets the user information container specified by userName. The method can be call by root and organization admin user.

Parameters:

userName, - the user name

Returns:

InformationContainer

Throws:

NoPrivilegeException
